Backyard Garden

Before writing a farm for meme, Maricella Infante built two large garden beds (3ft by 12ft by 3 ft deep) in our backyard. We planted purple coneflower, squash, tomatoes, tomatillos, melon, cucumber, okra, pumpkin, ginger, basil, mint, rosemary, dill, sage, Mexican oregano, Mexican honeysuckle, Spanish lavender, Texas hibiscus, and French thyme. In the winter, we planted lettuce, kale, fennel, green beans and snap peas. We are planting seeds, letting them take root while we take notice of what grows.
